PRE-SAFE®
The innovative PRE-SAFE system makes it easy to prevent accidents. It can sense a potentially imminent collision and help prepare for it by using a network of sensors (many of them already used by other safety systems in the vehicle). PRE-SAFE can detect the conditions that suggest an accident is about to occur, such as extreme skidding or loss of wheel control. The system then tightens the front seatbelts, adjusts the front head restraints and passenger seat, and even closes the windows and sunroof, if needed.

ATTENTION ASSIST
Smart technology and safety truly combine in this feature to keep you squarely on the road. ATTENTION ASSIST takes note of over 70 parameters in the first minutes of a drive to get to become accustomed to your unique driving style. As you continue along the road, it can detect certain steering corrections that suggest the onset of drowsiness. The system then considers a wide array of other factors, from crosswinds and road smoothness to how often you're interacting with the vehicle's controls. If it all adds up to driver fatigue, ATTENTION ASSIST sounds an alert encouraging you to stop for a rest.

Active Blind Spot Assist
This useful feature goes a step beyond your side mirrors when helping you detect what you can't easily see. When the radar sensors in the rear bumper detect a vehicle is alongside yours, a red icon lights up in the side mirror to inform you. If you signal for a lane change, an alert sounds to make sure that you're aware of nearby vehicles.
