Mercedes-Benz is always pushing the automotive engineering envelope. Whether you're talking about the F 015 Luxury in Motion concept vehicle the automaker showed off at last year's CES, or the cockpit of its 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class, which was on display at CES 2016, we're always impressed at Sears Imported Autos with what the brand has to offer. Speaking of the 2017 E-Class, we were pleased to learn that we'd get to see the whole vehicle at the 2016 North American International Auto Show, and it certainly didn't disappoint.
As has been the trend recently for Mercedes-Benz vehicles, the 2017 E-Class boasts autonomous driving features, and the model can go farther than ever before without direct driver input, even on curvy roads. Two cameras at the front of the sedan create a 3D picture of the road ahead (up to 55 yards) to keep an eye out for danger, and the 2017 E-Class's adaptive cruise control allows it to maintain speed relative to the vehicle ahead at speeds as high as 130 mph.
Besides its autonomous driving features, the 2017 Mercedes-Benz E-Class will sport a turbocharged four-cylinder engine capable of 241 horsepower when it launches this summer. Other models to follow after include a turbo six, a V8, a plug-in hybrid, and a diesel that is predicted to earn 42 mpg on the highway.
You'll have to wait a few months before the 2017 E-Class is available, so in the meantime, feel free to explore our other inventory. The E-Class isn't Mercedes-Benz's only technical innovation, after all. To schedule a test drive of the automaker's other mechanical marvels, don't hesitate to call, contact us online, or stop by the dealership today.
